Merry Christmas!

First…my apologies for the long gap in posting! Work has gotten quite a bit more hectic, of late, and my travels picked up a bit. Closing in on the end of the year is always a good sign, but for my job it also means passing through a gauntlet of issues, short-notice projects, and the like.

Happily, the days also often get more picturesque, at least in the moment.

Sunrise, earlier in the week.

I know I had mentioned the mixed feelings I have about snowfalls, but as one gets closer to Christmas….that begins to skew more and more towards joyful anticipation. Luckily, the past few days have cooperated, despite the miscalculations of several meteorologists.

Facing East, two days ago.

Beautiful to wake up to this, to be sure.

That said….it does create a bit of work, as well.

View towards the driveway, off the back deck.

Worth it, though. We may actually have a white Christmas….or at least white in patches. In any event….

I will try to get back on pace, after the new year. Until then, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all the best to each of you.

Tight lines.
