And again…

Yes, back for a second post in as many days!

The trip to the beach was a great getaway, but this morning there was still a lingering need for the green glow of leaves, the echoing sounds of our feathered friends, and the glimmer of sunlight on the ground and in the occasional spider’s web.

If you follow this blog, or even visit once in a long while, you are probably aware of my affinity for webs. Such amazing construction!

Another relatively early morning, so we had excellent, low-angle rays of sunlight to play off the foliage and brush, as well.

Even a glimpse of our moon, slowly looking for a place to hide among the pine needs.

It was a fairly still morning, though. Temps in the high 50’s as we left home, but quickly warming with very little breeze winding through the tree trunks to spread out the advancement of the sun-warmed air.

Still, the path was inviting, the birdcalls cheerful, and the turn and walk along the water restful.

There is always something of interest, when one escapes into nature. Although I found no shots of Herons, there were these volunteers that appeared, at one point.

That pond-side part also, as I may have previously mentioned, offers a great perspective on the sunlight, with the slope that descends toward the water. Within that, there are many excellent webs that catch the sun at a beautiful angle.

The time of year also made it’s effects apparent, with splashes of color that may have been subtly available in the previous weeks, but seemed to be coming to the fore, this time.

And, some other signs of life, as well.

Take care, everyone.

Get out into nature, whenever you can.

Recharge and reconnect with what the wilderness has to offer.

Tight lines…
