Yesterday morning, a good friend of mine passed away.
A decade and a half of military service, with extensive injuries received in combat, he persisted in trying to find the brighter side of everything, each day. Ready with a joke or a story, to brighten tough moments.
A loving a devoted father, he often made the right choice, and placed his kids needs before his own.
As a friend, he was fiercely loyal and always willing to help, if he could.
M.V. – Thank you for your friendship, your service, and the sacrifices that you made in striving to “do the right thing.”
You will be missed.
May you rest in piece, my brother.
Peace unto you Mike, during these hard times. Thought and prayers for the family.
Thank you, Allen. Much appreciated.
