Managed to take a long and late lunch (read as: only put in a cumulative 10 hrs by the time I got to bed), yesterday, to get the family out and soak up some sun for a bit.
After some searching around, we settled into this spot.
Always nice to just sit, feel the breeze, and listen to the sounds of birds and water over a stony river bottom.
After a while, with the girls playing in a side pool, I took a moment to check the rocks along the nearby edge.
Some excellent cased Caddis, nearing their emergence!
I will definitely have to find a time to come back, in the next few days, to take advantage of this with a few hours of Fly Fishing!
