Sunrise to Share

One person on twitter posted (and rightly so) that the space between Christmas and New Year’s is that span where you never really know what day it is, but you just keep eating until the second holiday appears.

Indeed.

Excellent Christmas with the family, and invitation to a NYE bash received, we are in that “Sweet Spot.”

This morning seemed like it would be another uniform gray…in fact my first glance out the window registered as so uniform that I doubted the camera would pick up any gradation in intensity from the horizon to vertical. Not so, a half hour later.

Nice pocket of color, appearing in one area then spreading to a wider swath, really kicked off the day.

I have posted a few more on the tail end of the December Skies page, but wanted to be sure to share a few with subscribers, as it was such a nice start to the day…

I hope everyone has a great “holiday limbo week!”

Tight lines…
