Nice weather…and progress.

I have has a few day trips into the Cascades, of late. Always nice to experience the different parts of this area of the world, even if on a small scale. A few of the more interesting photos, to make up for a long absence in posting…

White Pass, on President’s Day

Great day for our Daughter to hit the slopes. Nice that I still have connectivity, so I can get work done, too! I wonder when I will end up in a position that actually allows for Holidays to be a fully “off” day?

The route to/from White Pass provides a great reminder of the accessibility and beauty of the Tieton River, in preparation for the next Fly Fishing season.

Cle Elum River, near I-90

I don’t know how many (dozens) of times I have crossed the Cle Elum River, and have still never fished it. I may have to make the upper section a selection for on/near my next Birthday…

I often do not get the chance to stop and take good pics, when making the trip to/from Seattle, but this past week was an exception. Great weather (HIGHLY unusual for this time of year) and a bit of timing flexibility made for a great trip.

On the house front…good news! We have plumbing, Heat/AC ducting, and the beginnings of electrical being run! Progress on a better scale! We may well have “only” two more months, before we move back Home.

We shall see.

In the meantime, Tight Lines…

  1. So…when the email version was published, I realized that it went out referencing “mean time” at the end. My apologies. I know that I am somehow subconsciously obligated to misspell something, somewhere, in every post, but that is an odd one. It has been corrected in the online copy!
