Thank you for coming back to see what pics, places, and ramblings I have in store for the new year.
For starters, kicking off the year with time at the beach might seem…unnatural…to someone who grew up in the Midwest, but being temporarily displaced to Texas has to have some kind of upside…right?
…and there it is. Early January and a day where the water could be walked in (comfortably!) with bare feet, the sun warmed you in a lounge chair, and even the breeze failed to bring a chill to the skin.
Also a good chance to let that breeze kind of wash away the clinging remnants of 2025. A clean start, we hope, with new opportunities, adventures, and the occasional recharging trip into nature.
I hope each of you had as good a year as possible, in 2025, but that this year builds upon that, as well.
