Things are settling out fairly well, here in Houston. I mean, I’d be lying if I tried to claim that not having Fly Fishing locations close at hand was not weighing heavily on me, but I hold out hope that my work will reach a point where traveling for doses of pure nature can be planned.
That said, we’ve found some peace in returning to Galveston for beach days, when we can.

Great spot, for as long as the weather stays comfortable.
We also found some nice hikes, though, going out North of town.

It has the distinct possibility of some “over the water” sunset pics, too.

Additionally, a couple of visits to what is billed as the largest Renaissance Faire in the US have already happened.

Always a fun time, and this one has dozens of great music options. Quite amusing!
